We are looking for an individual to lead The Roses team in delivering the financial recovery plan and the programming strategy currently in development, and to bring in a new era of creativity to The Roses. The successful applicant will run the theatre as a commercial venue, managing staff and available resources to secure good value while steering the acquisition of additional resources to deliver further arts activities of merit. This will include leading the expansion of the Community and Outreach activities to engage wider audiences, much greater collaboration with local organisations, and the continuing development of strong commercial partnerships.

Technical Manager

We are looking for a Technical Manager to oversee the technical spaces and equipment of the theatre and the presentation of all events, ensuring quality of presentation and safety of public, staff and performers, helping the theatre to maximize attendance, meet financial targets and serve a wide cross-section of the community.

Front Of House Supervisor

The overall purpose of the role is to provide welcoming and efficient customer service in order to develop The Roses as a welcoming and vibrant centre for the arts, and in particular to work as one of the theatre’s front of house supervisors, with specific responsibility for achieving excellent customer service and high standards of care, and maximising income for the theatre.

Theatre Technicians

We are seeking dynamic individuals with experience and knowledge of technical theatre including specialist sound and lighting equipment, stage skills and current health and safety legislation.

The ideal candidates will have a proven record of working in technical theatre.

The successful candidates must be team workers, possess excellent interpersonal skills, motivation and an ability to make an enthusiastic and positive contribution to our varied programme of events, demonstrating a high standard of presentation and delivery of service for incoming companies and visitors.

Applicants must be able to work evening, weekends and bank holidays.

Initial Contracts will be short term until early January 2018
Job Type: Full-time & Part-Time
Salary: Negotiable according to experience
