Sadly, due to increased restrictions, the performances on Christmas Eve were the last.
However, (Almost) A Christmas Carol is now available to enjoy online! The cost is £10 and access will be available for 72 hours after purchase.
This isn't the way we wanted to bring the curtain down on (Almost) A Christmas Carol but we hope this brings some you festive cheer if you didn't manage to see it live!
What the Dickens are The Roses going to do this Christmas without pantomime?!
Banishing the pandemic into Christmas Past, this festive season Tewkesbury’s magical theatre is presenting a scaled-down and laughed-up family version of Charles Dickens’ perennial Christmas classic.
(Almost) A Christmas Carol is a family-friendly fun romp through nasty Mr Scrooge’s magical meetings with Christmas Ghosts, Past, Present and Future, with a large dollop of potted-panto festive fun thrown in for good measure.
This hour of hilarity will captivate family audiences everywhere, as we see if the trio of ghosts can redeem Mr Scrooge from his nasty ways and save poor Tiny Tim!
With many thanks to Wild Edric Media for facilitating this recording.
We have created a 360 degree virtual tour of the theatre so you can explore prior to your visit. Furniture has been removed to enable social distancing throughout the venue.
Blue, the undisputed star of the show, arrives at an empty theatre. Where on earth is everyone?
Murray joins Blue, to begin the process of getting everything ready for the show. It doesn't take much to distract him...
(disclaimer: The Roses' staff polished off all the out of date stock long ago, so rest assured all our ice creams are very much in date!)
Finally, Murray and Nick attempt a serious conversation, but guess who makes their lives difficult...
