A touching modern-day acoustic/folk musical about an Irish busker and an immigrant Czech girl who meet, fall in love and make beautiful music together.
The leads became an item during filming, adding an added layer of authenticity to their performances and it’s a joy to see their songs evolve and come alive to tell their stories.
Shot for peanuts on the streets of Dublin, the film became an international hit and won an Oscar for best original song.
