Orchestra Pro Anima, directed from the violin by Michael Bochmann
Now in its seventeenth year, this event continues to bring its seasonal magic to delighted audiences. The concert in the magnificent Great Hall will be preceded by a reception from 5pm in the lovely Long Drawing Room where you can enjoy wine, mince pies and other festive fare by the roaring log fire. The programme comprises beautiful music from the baroque, classical and romantic periods.
Orchestra Pro Anima, directed by Michael Bochmann, was launched in January 2017 and is formed of musicians who have played together over a long period as members of the English String Orchestra and who have a real affinity with one another, forged over time. Indeed, they have performed in this marvellous annual Christmas Concert for the past sixteen years.
