Create Your Future: Arts In Mental Health

The Roses' Arts In Mental Health programme sees a number of people, either referred through their GPs or through their health visitors, attend creative workshop sessions on a weekly basis with an emphasis on arts to make you feel better.

Specially designed for people with mental health, anxiety and confidence issues, Arts In Mental Health aims to ensure participants meet regularly in a workshop environment, to work towards eradicating the stigma associated with depression and mental health problems.

With proven results in a lowered number of GP visits and a lower number of relapses, it is evident that this is a pioneering project that improves well-being. Creative workshop series have included creative writing, mosaics, fine arts and poetry.
