The Going the Extra Mile (GEM) Project aims to engage with and support Gloucestershire’s hardest-to-reach, most vulnerable unemployed and financially-excluded people, who face multiple barriers to work.
GEM’s primary objective is to move these people closer towards education, training, volunteering or work, including self-employment.
This project is a partnership of community focused organisations, managed by Gloucestershire Gateway Trust on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council. The GEM Project is jointly funded by the Big Lottery and European Social Fund.
