
WHO WE ARE
The Roses Youth Theatre is an exciting and dynamic theatre workshop for young people aged between 5 and 19.
We currently have over 100 talented young performers working with us from all over Gloucestershire and neighbouring counties.
The Roses Youth Theatre engages, empowers and inspires young people through the theatre arts providing them with a high level of theatrical training in a fun and lively atmosphere. The youth theatre is all inclusive and prides itself on excellence. The Roses Youth Theatre seeks to be diverse, contemporary and challenging to both it's members and audience.
We currently run four seperate youth theatre groups every Tuesday and Wednesday evening during term time.
The four separate classes are:
Beginners (Now Recruiting) ages 5 - 7 years. Tuesday 4.30pm - 5.30pm. Term fee £45.00
Juniors ages 8 - 10 years. Wednesday 4.30pm - 6.00pm. Term fee £55.00
Seniors ages 11 - 13 years. Tuesday 6.00pm - 8.00pm. Term fee £65.00
Company ages 14 - 18 years. Wednesday 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Term fee £65.00
SEPTEMBER 2010 (Now Recruiting)
Young Company ages 14 - 16 years. Wednesday 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Company ages 17 - 19 years. Thursday 6.00pm - 8.00pm
EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES
- Develop new skills in stage acting, film and technical theatre.
- Perform in the professionally produced annual Youth Theatre production on the Roses Main Stage.
- Participate in end of term showings of work.
- Work with professional theatre practitioners taking part in a variety of theatre skills workshops.
- Youth Theatre Pass. Entitles all members to one free live event and film per term at The Roses and discounts on holiday activities and other events. (Terms and conditions apply)
- Theatre trips to see plays and shows.
- Opportunities to meet and collaborate with other Gloucestershire Youth Theatres.
ARTS AWARD
From September 2010 The Roses will be an "Arts Award Centre". Allowing youth theatre members to work towards a nationally recognised qualification in creative and leadership skills. For more information

Youth Theatre activities prove extremely popular and we do operate a waiting list system for places. The waiting lists are reviewed before the start of each new term.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us teach our Youth Theatre sessions and work on productions!
