In a small dusty Spanish village, overweight teenager Sarah is the victim of relentless bullying by a vicious gang of local girls.

After a particularly humiliating incident, she witnesses her tormenters abducted by a mysterious stranger, but chooses to not report it. As concerns about the girls disappearance intensifies, she plunges into a opaque spiral of revenge, complicity and guilt. Blending bloody horror, coming of age and social commentary, and anchored by a ferocious central performance, this impressive debut tackles issues of self-esteem and the cyclical nature of bullying with dark humour, psychological complexity and shocks aplenty.
