About Classics in the Abbey: Pride & Prejudice

A witty, whirlwind retelling of Austen’s classic!

Step into the heart of Tewkesbury Abbey as Jane Austen’s world comes thrillingly to life in a bold, funny, and fast-paced reimagining of Pride & Prejudice.

Following a sold-out run at Bath Abbey, this acclaimed production transforms the historical landmark into a stunning theatre-in-the-round, where four talented actors take on all the beloved (and ridiculous) characters from Austen’s classic tale of love, wit and social ambition.

Surrounded by the soaring architecture and atmosphere of one of Tewkesbury’s most iconic spaces, join Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy for an evening of laughter, romance and irreverent fun in this uniquely intimate and unforgettable theatrical experience.
