Fees And Charges
A postage charge of £2.00 per booking applies if you wish to have your tickets posted to you. You can avoid this charge by selecting print at home tickets, or by choosing to collect your tickets immediately prior to the event - your tickets will be held securely on our system and printed out on the day of the event.

Reservations And Refunds
Reservations Payment is required for reserved tickets within 3 days of the reservation, or 3 days prior to the date of the event, whichever is the soonest. Any reserved tickets not paid for by this time will be released.

Exchanges
At the discretion of Box Office, tickets can be exchanged for a different performance of the same event. An administration fee of £2 per ticket applies. We do not offer exchanges on tickets for different events.

Refunds
We do not offer refunds on any tickets unless the event is cancelled or postponed. If you are unable to attend a performance, and the performance is sold out, we may offer to resell your tickets. Members may be credited on performances that they are unable to attend provided we are notified prior to the event. Refund protection (ticket insurance) is available at point of purchase via our partner, Booking Protect.

Only food and drinks purchased on the premises can be consumed whilst at The Roses. We reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated or disorderly people. Age guidance stated for live shows (where applicable) is provided by the visiting companies. The Roses is unable to accept responsibility for accuracy.

Ticket Types

Full price: Adults

Concessions: Available (where specified) to children aged 3 - 15, to people receiving a state pension, those in receipt of Universal Credit or other documented benefits. You may be required to prove eligibility. Under 3s go free, provided they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap.

Families: £2 off up to 2 adult tickets when accompanied by up to 4 children. Discount is automatically applied at checkout. Under 3s go free, provided they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap.

16-25s: A limited number of seats are available at £5 off the advertised price across selected live events (excludes Price Band C on banded events). Proof of age may be requested.

Schools & Groups: Buy ten tickets, get the eleventh free. Available on most live shows and all films.

Carers: Registered carers are entitled to half price admission. Proof of eligibility may be required.

Participation Programmes Terms and Conditions

Booking Types

• Termly Programmes: Termly commitments such as The Roses Choir and RYC Youth Theatre.

• Courses: Multi-session structured learning programmes like RYC Summer School.

• One-Off Workshops: Single-session, standalone workshops such as Drink and Draw and half-term one-day activities for children.

• Free Events: Complimentary events that still require ticket booking like Future’s Now Festival.

General Principles

Credits for Cancellations/Postponements:

• If an event or session is cancelled by The Roses Theatre, participants will receive a full refund for the ticket price.

• If an event or session is postponed by The Roses Theatre, participants will receive a credit towards future bookings.

• Refunds/credits will not be issued for cover teachers or substitute sessions.

• An admin fee of £2 may apply to any changes made by the booker.

No booking or admin fees are refunded/credited.

Termly Programmes

• No refunds are available for termly programmes.

• Credits may be issued in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of The Roses Theatre.

• We kindly ask for at least 6 weeks’ notice of withdrawal

Courses

• Cancellation with 3+ months’ notice: 100% refund.

• Cancellation with 1+ month’s notice: 50% refund.

• Cancellation with less than 1 month’s notice: Credit only (no cash refund).

One-Off Workshops

• Standard ticket T&C’s applies.

• No refunds for cancellations.

• If the workshop is sold out, The Roses Box Office can attempt to resell their ticket.

Free Events

• All free events will require a ticket from our Box office.

• Non-attendance at two consecutive free events will result in follow-up communication and may affect future bookings.
