About The Railway Children: Garden Festival - Day Three

At The Garden Festival, there’s live music drifting through the trees, street food worth lingering over and a bar that turns the whole thing into a proper summer occasion.

Enjoy free children's activities and workshops throughout the day, then stay for an open air theatre performance for only £5 - £20. It's the perfect way to spend time with your family.

Enjoy live music throughout the afternoon, alongside a very special performance in the evening from Paperback Theatre.

Delicious food available from Hungry Monkey.

To make the most of your day, we recommend bringing something to sit on, such as a picnic blanket or folding chair, so you can relax comfortably throughout the festival.

You will also contribute to the Roses community flag - which will be used in the live production! Join us from 1.00-1.45pm to get crafting. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Aimed at ages 5+, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Railway Children | 2.00pm

No Wifi. No Xbox. And water from a well?! This definitely isn’t Brum.

Bobbie (that’s me), Peter & Phyllis (ow! Stop pinching me) - I mean Phil - have been swept off to the English countryside by our Mom, who is suddenly far too busy to play with us.

Left to explore our new home, (if you can call it that), it’s not long before the railway calls from the bottom of the garden. As we follow the tracks to the local station, we discover a whole new world full of strange characters, romance (stop retching, Peter), peril and questions that definitely need answering!
