Job Description

THE ROLE
  • Design, deliver and evaluate a range of community programmes including Roses Choir, Sing for Health & Wellbeing, creative workshops, Open Mic and dementia-friendly activity
  • Develop new programmes aligned with The Roses’ mission and audience development priorities
  • Commission and support freelance artists and facilitators, ensuring high-quality, values-led delivery
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across health, voluntary, creative and VCSE sectors
  • Support funding applications, manage grants, and produce clear evaluations and reports
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation to embed community and wellbeing values
ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 3 years’ experience producing or managing community engagement, creative health or participatory arts programmes
  • Has experience working with people who face barriers to participation (e.g. older adults, people with dementia, people experiencing isolation, disabled people)
  • Is confident building partnerships and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Is organised, adaptable and comfortable balancing planning with hands-on delivery
  • Communicates warmly and clearly, with strong written skills
  • Has a commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding
