About TADS present Amadeus

Salieri lived for music. He begged God to make him a great composer…

But then there was Mozart.

In Peter Shaffer’s thrilling play, the tragic, brief life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is told through the eyes of an envious rival, who, convinced of his own mediocrity, and in desperate conflict with his God, plots the young virtuoso’s destruction.

Tewkesbury Arts & Drama Society (TADS) presents a rich dramatic spectacle with live music. Directed by William Tombs, with musical director Vicki Wagstaffe.
