Join calligraphy artist and experienced facilitator Faatimah for a relaxed introduction to modern calligraphy using brush pens.

Set in the welcoming surroundings of The Roses Theatre, this small-group workshop for 12 participants offers a calm, cosy space to slow down and explore the foundations of brush lettering. You’ll be guided through essential techniques, including basic strokes, letterforms, and how to build words with confidence.

Throughout the session, you’ll have time to practise at your own pace, with step-by-step guidance to help you develop your skills and find your rhythm. By the end of the workshop, you’ll create your own finished piece to take home.
