Prof Lindsey McEwan
Lindsey is professor of environmental management at University of the West of England, Bristol, heading up the Centre for Water, Communities and Resilience. She researches in community water risk management – floods and droughts, water heritage, sustainable catchment management, science communication and learning for sustainability. She is currently Chair of Trustees of Tewkesbury Nature Reserve, helping develop nature-connected learning activities that support local people’s health and wellbeing through the reserve. She has a book entitled “Flood risk and community resilience: an interdisciplinary approach” – due out in February 2024.
