Growing up is never quite what you imagined.

It's 1985, and Vincent is almost 13. Living in the Paris suburbs with his older brother and constantly arguing parents, he finds himself caught between childhood and adulthood. As his family struggles with money, identity, relationships and changing social expectations, Vincent begins to discover the confusing pleasures and anxieties of growing up. His first crush, friendships, religion and the questions he has about the adults around him all become part of an increasingly complicated world. A warm, funny and bittersweet coming-of-age comedy rooted in the details of family life and 1980s France.
