About Two Women
Desire, infidelity and the messy realities of domestic life are laid bare in this playful feminist sex comedy
Florence and Violette, two suburban mothers in Quebec, find their carefully ordered lives upended when Florence’s impulsive affair sparks a chain of self‑discovery. As both women confront dissatisfaction in marriage, motherhood and identity, their friendship deepens into a liberating — and often chaotic — rebellion against expectation.
This modern reimagining of the 1970 cult comedy Two Women in Gold balances raucous humour with candid explorations of female pleasure, autonomy and the chaos of suburban life.
