About Lindsay Martin
Lindsay Martin performs torch songs of heartbreak and hope, from The Great American Songbook and the Golden Age of Musical Theatre, in the intimate cabaret setting of The Roses Theatre Bar.
Lindsay has been singing for 25 years across many different genres. Her passion for storytelling and emotionally expressive performance finds its natural home in the jazz standards and Broadway songs of the first half of the twentieth century.
Alongside the gifted musicians in her band, she has performed at various venues throughout Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, including the Cheltenham Jazz Festival and Three Choirs Festival Worcester.
Performing a set that includes the ever meaningful songwriting talents of: Arthur Schwartz, Ann Ronell, Lorenz Hart, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Harold Arlen, Jerome Kern, Jule Styne, Comden & Green and Stephen Sondheim.
Lindsay is accompanied by the musical talents of:
