Set in the open and spacious surroundings of The Roses Theatre bar, this intimate session for 12 participants offers a unique opportunity to learn the art of botanical painting from life.

Working directly from real rose plants, you'll discover techniques for observing and capturing the intricate details of the flowers. Karen will guide you through the fundamentals of botanical art, from initial sketches, to pen work and watercolour techniques, helping you develop your observational skills and artistic confidence in pen and watercolour.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to enhance your drawing and painting practice, this workshop provides a relaxed and supportive environment to explore your creativity. All materials & refreshments will be provided, and you'll leave with your own beautiful botanical study inspired by summer's most beloved flower.
