The Roses has entered the British Independent Film Awards’ (BIFA) brand-new Cinema of the Year Award, supported by Kia – and we’re calling on our audiences and local community to help us secure a nomination.

Back in July, cinemas across the UK were invited to tell BIFA what makes their venue special. Now it’s over to cinema lovers to have their say. Public voting is open until 22 Sep, and the results will help a specially selected jury decide which five cinemas make the shortlist.

The nominees will be revealed on 3 Nov, alongside the rest of the BIFA 2025 Awards announcements. A second round of voting will then open from 3–24 Nov, when cinemagoers will be able to choose the ultimate winner. The result will be unveiled at the prestigious BIFA ceremony on Sunday 30 Nov.
