2. Bloomin’ Fest 2026

Bloomin’ Fest is back — and it’s opening Tewkesbury’s Big Weekend in unforgettable style.

From 6.00pm–10.30pm, Sun Street transforms into a free, open-air celebration featuring:

  • Live music from brilliant local artists (line-up coming soon)
  • An outdoor bar to toast the start of summer
  • Incredible street food worth arriving hungry for
  • A buzzing, all-ages festival atmosphere

Lock in the group chat. Book the babysitter — or bring the kids early and stay late. However you do it, make a night of it.

Because if you miss it?

You’ll be watching the photos, the reels, the “wish you were here” posts… and wishing you were.

3. CineMinis

We’re delighted to welcome back CineMinis — our relaxed, judgement-free cinema experience for parents and carers with little ones.

Enjoy family-friendly films while feeding, cuddling, rocking or strolling with your baby — all without worrying about disturbing anyone. It’s cinema classics in a calm, supportive environment.

Screenings take place on the first Wednesday of every month. Take a look at what’s coming up next and join us.

4. Silly Shakespeare: Play in a Day

Calling all young performers aged 7–11!

Silly Shakespeare: Play in a Day is a full-day creative adventure packed with drama, imagination and laughter. We’ll take on the Bard’s brilliance with a playful, youthful twist — creating a brand-new performance piece in just one day.

No experience needed — just enthusiasm, energy and a love of fun.

5. Oddsocks: Romeo & Juliet

Join us in Victoria Gardens this June as Oddsocks return with their irreverent, high-energy take on Romeo & Juliet.

With music, mayhem and their trademark comic flair, Oddsocks transform Shakespeare’s tale of star-crossed lovers into an uplifting outdoor theatre experience. Expect big laughs, bold storytelling and a joyous antidote to prejudice.

Pack a picnic, bring a blanket and enjoy a summer evening of theatre under the open sky. Book here.
