Brad Pitt and his combat dog are stranded in the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash in this gripping survival thriller about loyalty, courage and staying alive.

After a plane crash leaves Special Forces veteran James Belmont stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness, he has just one companion: Odin, the combat dog who has served alongside him. Injured, exhausted and miles from civilisation, the pair must find a way through some of the harshest terrain on Earth, facing freezing conditions, dangerous wildlife and the physical and emotional scars of James’s past.

Heart of the Beast is an old-fashioned adventure built around a wonderfully simple relationship. Brad Pitt stars as James, with J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe also featuring, but Odin is the film’s other real star. Filmed in New Zealand, the spectacular landscapes provide the backdrop for a tough, atmospheric survival story that ultimately comes down to one thing: how far would you go for the friend who never leaves your side?
